This article presents a case of an unusual cause of cardiac tamponade during a cardiac catheterization study. The case involves a rare congenital anomaly known as a sinus of Valsalva aneurysm, which led to tamponed following inadvertent catheter wire perforation. The prompt recognition and management of this rare complication were crucial in preventing further deterioration and adverse outcomes.
